What's new this year!
This year, LVYO is implementing a new initiative called "COPS" (Clinician Orchestra Preparation for Student). Partly made possible through the support of the Nevada Arts Council, this program's goal is to provide the emerging wind musician with group instruction to develop skills, from a master clinician's instruction.
The program offers benefits in:
- skill acquisition
- engagement in the art with artist
- introduction to orchestral repertoire and learning the art of orchestral performance
- appreciation of wind instrument's role in classical repertoire
Study culmination will be in a performance either as a stand-alone wind ensemble or integrated with the LVYO orchestra.
