Eric Maine

Symphony Conductor

Eric Maine has been a resident of Nevada since he began working for the Clark County School District in 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Syracuse University with a minor in Music History, graduating Summa Cum Laude. In 2015 he earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Eric has taught at both the middle and high school level and his orchestras have consistently received superior ratings at festivals in and around the Nevada area. Eric is co-director of orchestras at Ed W. Clark High School; conducting at their 2016 performance at The Midwest Clinic, an International Band and Orchestra Conference held in Chicago, IL.

Eric currently serves as the Southern NMEA (Nevada Music Educators Association) All-State Orchestra Chair; where he oversees the student audition process, conductor selection, and the overall operation of the Orchestra rehearsal and performance at the yearly NMEA All-State Music Festival. He is currently president-elect of the Nevada Chapter of ASTA (The American String Teachers Association). Eric is excited for the opportunity to work with the Las Vegas Youth Orchestras alongside such talented and bright young musicians.
