Jessica Dorothy

Jessica Dorothy is a kindergarten teacher for CCSD at Thiriot ES. Jessica has an extensive background in the performing arts. She began her love for dance at the age of five, attended OCHSA (Orange County High School of the Arts), and danced with the OC Metropolitan Ballet Company. She moved to Las Vegas in 1995, worked as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher before attending UNLV, finally finding her happy place as a kindergarten teacher.
Jessica has decades of community service experience volunteering for a variety of non profit organizations and elementary schools. She has experience with event planning, performing arts productions and fund raising. She is a very proud parent of a 13 year old daughter who is beginning her second year with LVYO. Jessica is excited to join the LVYO board of directors as a parent volunteer and can’t wait to dive into this magical world of talented students and inspiring teachers!
